Ripple Tank simulates the interference between two circular
waves, for instance waves on water. You can make still images
and animations of the interference pattern. Change the
separation or phases of the sources. This program is ideal for
explaining what happens in a ripple tank. Suitable for high
school and college students and teachers.
Ripple Tank
Features

Change source separation, phases and wavelength.
•
Show displacement or intensity.
•
Show path lengths and phases of the waves in an arbitrary
point.
•
Make and view animations of the rolling wave pattern.
Ripple Tank comes with 5 premade simulations which you may
modify as you like. Each simulation includes one or more
